Merry Fitness!

The year has passed hopefully with some success and the new year is soon upon us. This time of year can be a little tricky to stay motivated, however we can still maintain our health even when navigating around Christmas parties and even new year drinks.

One tip is for every alcoholic drink you have have one to two glasses of water. Try to go for walks if you are on holidays, maybe put your walk into one of your site seeing days or first thing in the morning so you have it out of the way before the fun starts.

Maintaining good nutrition is important especially on those days when we know we are going out to dinner or to a party. Once again water is going to be you friend it is a great natural fat metaboliser and it is essential in aiding digestion.

Some hotels have in house gyms or perhaps look for one that is located near where you are staying. It is always good to do some investigating first to find out costs, opening and closing times plus do they offer what you want.

Next is stay positive, we may let ourselves slip a little over the holidays but this can be a good thing. Allowing some time off over the period can be great to re-set some goals and let our bodies and metabolism recover if we have been over training during the year.

And hey don't forget we always have the New Year!, this time is awesome to Sit down and re asses the new year.
